Okada Manila Hosts Miss Philippines-Earth Presentation of Delegates

Okada Manila, acclaimed as Manila’s grand icon, will be hosting the prestigious Miss Philippines-Earth’s (MPE) swimwear competition and press presentation of 20 young aspiring beauty queens and environmental advocates from all over the country.

The event will be held tomorrow, July 28 at one of Okada Manila’s main attractions, The Fountain, which is the world's largest multicolor dancing fountain and was re-opened 2 weeks ago and was viewed by thousands of guests.

This is the 3rd time, the organizer of Miss Earth Philippines Carousel Production has chosen Okada Manila to host one of the major programs of MPE.

Okada Manila’s top executives will formally welcome the Miss Earth delegates and their invited guests.

Highlights of the event is the swimsuit presentation of the participants as part of the preliminary competition, the program will also feature the candidates’ catwalk, and most importantly they will present their advocacies, plans, and vision towards protecting our environment.

Following the swimwear event is a photo opportunity of the candidates at the huge 37,464 sqm dancing fountain.

Pageant titlists Naelah Alshorbaji, Miss Philippines Earth 2021 and Ameera Almamari, Miss Philippines Air 2021 will be the event hosts.

Twenty young beauties form part of this year’s pageant, the 22nd edition, bearing the thematic peg “ME Loves Fauna”, which puts emphasis on the importance of caring for animal life. The theme aims to create awareness of how animal life, both wildlife and domestic, all essential members of the environment must be given proper care and attention especially as we are facing and experiencing a worldwide problem on the effects of climate change.

The Finals and Grand Coronation of MPE 2022 will be on August 6, 2022 at the very famous tourist destination, CORON, PALAWAN. Telecast on August 7, 2022 on A27 CHANNEL 11 at 10AM to 12NN. The competition will be using a hybrid format for both virtual and live shows.
